Americans do one thing really well: We rise to every challenge.
We always have, we always will. Be it a world war, the race to put the first man on the moon, or the current COVID-19 pandemic. Make no mistake: Americans will overcome this ordeal as well, and we in the Red Feather Lakes area are marching on the frontlines.

Here’s How the North 40 Mountain Alliance is Fighting Back

The economy shutdown over COVID-19 has hit many of our local residents especially hard.
We, and our awesome teams of volunteers in the Red Feather Lakes and Livermore areas, have partnered to bring about the North 40 Food Pantry along with Morning Star Community Church, Chapel in the Pines, Livermore Community Churches, and many wonderfully generous local donors, with agencies such as:

  • Girl Scouts of Colorado @ Magic Sky Ranch,
  • Larimer County Office on Aging
  • Larimer County Partnership for Age Friendly Communities
  • Senior Access Points
  • Red Feather Lakes Community Library
  • Gordon Creek Farm
  • Food Bank for Larimer County
  • Citizen Printing

The North 40 Food Pantry is working hard to fight the food insecurity of our community by supplying free food to those in need.

Food distribution is held each Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at both of our main locations (Glacier View area residents should use the Red Feather Lakes location, as Livermore supplies are limited):

Chapel in the Pines
23947 W County Rd 74e
Red Feather Lakes, CO 80545

As of May 1st, the North 40 Food Pantry has served over 21,262 local residents, in over 9434 different households, by giving out over 488,584 pounds of free food!
